This 6-hour course provides engineers with the basics of wireless LAN technologies and the related security concerns and guidelines. The course materials are based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-48: Wireless Network Security: 802.11, Bluetooth, and Handheld Devices.

This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
