Course Outline

Water security planning and threat response is critically important as contamination of a drinking water system can cause illness, disease, or even death. This webinar is based on the Water Security Handbook developed by the U.S. EPA, which provides guidance to water utility planning, contamination threat management, site characterization and sampling, public health response, and remediation and recovery. The webinar is designed to help water/utility officials and designers protect the water system and respond effectively to threats and contamination incidents involving the water system.

This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
