Mr. Klob has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a law degree from Georgia State University. He was licensed as a P.E. and is also licensed to practice law in two states. Prior to beginning his law practice in 1994, he practiced civil engineering and transportation planning for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). Before entering private law practice, Mr. Klob served as an in-house attorney for GDOT and represented GDOT in administrative hearings enforcing truck weight and permitting regulations. In addition to an active private law practice as a trial lawyer with a focus primarily on workers' compensation and plaintiff's personal injury law, He has previously served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in administrative hearings involving enforcement of the Georgia Safe Dams Act and the Georgia Outdoor Advertising Control Act. Mr Klob also has prior teaching experience as a certified peace officer instructor in the areas of evidence and constitutional law and taught ongoing certification courses for GDOT law enforcement personnel while employed with GDOT. He has also taught military history and military law at Georgia Tech as a ROTC instructor in a previous assignment in his duties as an Army Reserve Judge Advocate.
