This course presents the standard practice for the design, fabrication, and erection of structural steel buildings and bridges. The course covers materials, contract documents, shop and erection drawings, shop fabrication and delivery, erection procedures, quality assurance, contractual responsibilities, and architecturally exposed structural steel. The course materials are based entirely on the 2016 AISC Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges.
A multiple-choice quiz is included at the end of the course to reinforce key concepts and assess participants' understanding of the material.
