Mr. Hammouz is a registered Professional Engineer in Manitoba, Canada, with over 10 years of experience specializing in mechanical building systems design and commissioning, energy modeling, energy auditing, and LEED consulting services. As Principal and Director of Engineering at GSP Engineering, Mr. Hammouz leads the firm’s efforts in delivering sustainable, high-performance building solutions that prioritize energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Throughout his career, Mr. Hammouz has worked on the full spectrum of building energy and mechanical systems - from mechanical design and energy audits to deep energy retrofits and compliance reviews for high-performance buildings. In addition to his role at GSP Engineering, Mr. Hammouz serves as a Certification Reviewer for the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) for a variety of green building programs, including LEED and Zero Carbon Buildings (ZCB).
