This online course reviews the different types of silt curtains (also known as turbidity barriers) used in navigation and environmental dredging projects, and discusses circumstances under which they function best. Specific topics include selection, design, specification, deployment, and management of silt curtains at dredging projects.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
