Deconstruction and demolition of structures are often required to preserve historical buildings or to create space for new structures. In this webinar, we will describe the difference between deconstruction and demolition, examine various demolition methods, discuss the sequences of demolition, and cover other aspects of the deconstruction and demolition process, from engineering surveying to safety measures. In addition, we will learn how controlled demolition by implosion is performed to achieve efficient operations.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
