This 5-hour course is an overview of the lighting market in the United States and how High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting is used in the energy markets. The course reviews the fundamentals of lighting, how HID lamps work as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of HID lighting. The course discusses the differences among HID lighting types and how they are typically used.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
