This course provides a general understanding of how encryption works, the methods and algorithms employed, how it is used in different applications.
This course will cover the common applications of encryption, as well as the common types of encryption algorithms and standards. A terse review of the history of cryptography will be followed by an in depth analysis of modern encryption applications. Then, many available encryption programs, uses and best practices are highlighted.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
