Sustainable engineering and design have become increasingly important in recent years as the world faces numerous environmental and social challenges. This course provides an overview of the principles of sustainable engineering and design, which involves the integration of environmental, social, and economic considerations in the engineering design process. The course covers topics such as sustainable materials, energy-efficient design, waste management, and life cycle analysis. The course also explores the role of sustainability in different engineering disciplines, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering.
The course has a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
