Coded box fire alarm systems and Zoned Conventional Systems originated and grew with the development of electrical fire alarm systems. These systems teach us basic principles of fire alarm systems. The chronological narrative presents equipments as they were developed, so that we learn as they learned, experience to experience. The narrative tells some significant events that drove development forward, and relates firefighting situations, code development, building construction, and electrical fire alarm systems. "Where Did They Go?" chart helps us find the present place of some historic fire alarm companies whom we grew to know and trust. This course is loaded with pictures, drawings, and a sample "fire alarm matrix chart" so that one can know "what it looks like".
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
