This course introduces electrical substations and describes the purpose and types of substations, such as generator step-up substations, transmission substations, and distribution substations. The components of a substation are addressed including transformers, circuit breakers, regulators, and system protection systems.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
