Lee Layton, PE
This four-hour course reviews the technology associated with capturing and sequestering carbon dioxide from fossil fuel power plants.
Because of increasing global energy carbon emissions and rising concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) will enter the atmosphere unless major changes are made in the way we produce and use energy—in particular, how we manage carbon. We can minimize this impact by reducing the need for fossil fuels, finding other sources for energy production, and capturing the carbon that is emitted from fossil fuel combustion and sequestering it.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
