Learning Units (Hours)
John M. Gross, PE, CQE, CSSBB
This one hour online course provides a basic overview of the 5S process. 5S is a sustainable process to increase the organization, orderliness, and cleanliness in any work environment. 5S applies to both manufacturing and administrative areas in any business. While often thought of as a “housekeeping” program--safety, productivity, quality and morale also increase when 5S is thoughtfully implemented and sustained.
The course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
