The population in the U. S. over age 65 is increasing rapidly and so are healthcare costs. Most people in this age group desire to remain independently at home as long as possible. Technology innovations supporting home care can help extend this time at home and reduce healthcare costs. This course provides a description of the home care domain together with emerging technologies that provide a major opportunity for transforming and improving the aging experience at home.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
