Course Description

This course provides an in-depth review of the mandatory Laws and Rules requirements for licensed Professional Engineers in Florida for renewal period of 2011-2013.

PEs who failed to renew their license on time by the last deadline (02/28/11) or were previously inactive can also take this course to reactivate their Florida PE license.

The covered topics include changes in the preceding biennium to Rule 61G15, Florida Administrative Code, as well as changes in Chapters 455 and 471 of the Florida Statutes. In addition, recent individual disciplinary and unlicensed practice cases are discussed in depth.

This course is based on changes in the preceding Biennium 2009 / 2010, and it includes the following information:

• Chapter 455 of the Florida Statutes.
• Chapter 471 of the Florida Statutes.
• Rule 61G15, Florida Administrative Code.
• Disciplinary and unlicensed practice cases as conducted by the Florida Engineers Management Corporation (FEMC).
