One of the more popular and prolific course providers is Mr. Matthew Stuart, PE, SE, F.ASCE, the author of 35 structural engineering courses. Mr. Stuart is a licensed Professional Engineer in 16 states and a licensed Structural Engineer in 4 states. He has over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of commercial, manufacturing, process and industrial facilities projects throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and South America. Mr. Stuart is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), a Charter Member of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), and a member of American Institute of Steel Construction. Mr. Stuart has also authored articles for Modern Steel Construction, Structural Engineer, ASCE Practice Periodical on Structural Design and Construction, and the NCSEA STRUCTURE Magazine. Good News for Florida PLS and PE
We have good news for Florida Professional Land Surveyors and Engineers. If you are a FL PLS, all our 25 FL PLS Board Approved Courses have recently been renewed by the Board and now are available in the “Surveying and Mapping” section in the Course Library. If you are a FL PE, we will now report your PDH’s earned from our organization directly to the FL Board.

Online Self-Reporting for AIA Members
Starting March 1, 2010, AIA members will have to do the self-reporting online. AIA/CES is going green and will no longer accept faxed or mailed forms. The forms will need to be completed, submitted, reviewed and processed online.

PDH Requirements for AK, VA and PA
Alaska, Virginia and Pennsylvania have joined the growing list of states requiring PDH credits for professional license renewals. Specifically, professional engineers in the State of Alaska will need 24 PDH credits for their biennial license renewal starting December 2010. Professional architects, engineers, and land surveyors in the Commonwealth of Virginia are required to obtain 16 PDH credits to renew their licenses after April 1, 2010. The Pennsylvania State Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists Board will soon enforce the mandatory continuing education requirements for professional licensing, probably starting in 2011.
