PDH Center Expands its Selections of Online and Correspondence Courses


Dedicated to provide the professional engineers, architects and land surveyors with the largest collection of quality CE courses, PDH Center has expanded its course library to 250 courses, doubling the number of courses it offered one year ago. The expanded course library provides extensive coverage of course subjects in all major engineering and surveying disciplines, board laws & rules, ethics, and business and project management. One of the unique features at PDH Center is that course contents can be viewed or downloaded free of charge. This will allow our valued users to review the course materials and make proper selection prior to purchasing the course. PDH Center Continues as an Approved PDH Provider in Florida

Florida Board of Professional Engineers recently renewed PDH Center's approved CE provider status for the license period of 3/1/03-2/28/05. In addition, PDH Center is authorized by the Board to continue offering courses on Florida Board Laws and Rules. Our Florida Continuing Education Provider number remains CEP 00030. Besides Florida, PDH Center is also an Approved Continuing Education Provide in North Carolina, Arkansas and Louisiana. These four states are the only ones that currently pre-approve courses or providers (vendors) in both engineering and surveying fields. Most states requiring CPC (CPD or PDH) do not pre-approve courses or providers (vendors).

Deadline Alert

To those whose license renewals are up, the following are some of the upcoming deadlines and the PDH requirements for your information:

NV (6/30/2003 for 25% licensees, 30 PDH credits, biennial)
OR (6/30/2003 for 25% licensees, 30 PDH credits, biennial)
WV (6/30/2003 for all licensees, 15 PDH credits, annual)

If your state is not listed above, please check your renewal deadline and PDH requirements with your state licensing board.

Update Your Account Info and Check Your Course Status

If your personal information such as email address, telephone number or company affiliation has changed, you can update them online by logging into your account and clicking on "My Profile". To those who have purchased the courses but have not passed the quiz yet, please be reminded that your course work will not be considered as completed until you pass the quiz. The PDH credits will be issued for the completed courses only. You can check the status of your courses in "Courses Purchased" in "My Account".

Featured Course Provider - Russell Faust, PE

PDH Center is proud to have more than 70 industry experts as our course providers. The high caliber of our courses directly reflects the expertise and dedication of our providers. Today, we would like to introduce you to Mr. Russell Faust, one of our charter providers who made significant contribution to our course library. Mr. Faust has over 40 years experience as a civil engineer. He has worked in both private and public sectors, and has served as Chief Design Engineer, Public Works Director, City Engineer, and City Planner. His experience includes design of water systems, wastewater systems, sanitary sewer, subdivision, streets and other projects. His work also involves marketing, report and proposal writing, and facility planning. He is a member of American Public Works Association, American Waterworks Association and American Society of Civil Engineers. Mr. Faust offers varieties of courses under the categories of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Hydrology & Water and General Engineering Topics.
