This one hour online course discusses the water usage of laboratory buildings and the opportunities to reduce water waste and increase water use efficiency in laboratory buildings.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.

At the conclusion of this course, the student will:
- Be able to understand where water is used in laboratories;
- Be able to identify water use savings opportunities in laboratories; and
- Be able to understand how to create a water balance for laboratories.

Course Summary
Although laboratory buildings require more water than many other building types due to cooling loads and the types of equipment; there are opportunities to reduce the water use and increase the efficiency of the water balance in laboratories.
