This course is for the leader who wants to “make things happen” in their organization. It is “meat and potatoes” stuff with practical, common-sense, proven approaches for becoming the low cost, high quality provider. It’s not sexy, glitzy or glamorous; just plain hard-hitting stuff that really works presented in an easy to read style. Ten Essentials of Business Part 1 follows an orderly and logical progression from the principles and core foundations to systems that must be implemented. It is based on the ten essential factors for success that have been identified by the author in his research and work with over 150 different organizations during the past three decades. Each Essential includes working questions to help the reader apply the concepts and principles. Managers and leaders are not usually hired or promoted knowing how to lead people and manage processes. The necessary competencies can be learned. This course shows what it takes to be an effective leader in today’s fast-paced, lean-staffed, time pressured and information driven organization.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
