The geotechnical report provides critical and vital information for the owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to use and evaluate project sites. This webinar introduces students to the many components that make up a thorough geotechnical exploration report. The speaker will discuss soil as an engineering material, describe common site exploration methods, and present subsurface profiles, classification, and diagrams. Students will learn how to interpret basic boring logs as well as what questions to ask and when.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials. This course qualifies for Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) credits.
